Bad Girls by Jacqueline Wilson

Geek girl Mandy is depressed. She is being bullied by the mean girls in the school just because of her elderly parents and babyish clothes, and no-one can make her happy.  Except bad girl Tanya, who makes Mandy feel good about herself.  But is Tanya a bad influence on Mandy, especially when she starts stealing.

I love this rainbow themed book! This book talks about friendship, bullying and doing the right thing. I rate it five stars! Jacqueline Wilson does another great tale! I reccomen

Diamond by Jacqueline Wilson

The new, number one bestseller on amazon is out now!

Description: We all think that stars were born as, well, stars. Hetty Feather wasn’t. And Diamond defiantly wasn’t. Brought put as Ellen- Jane Potts by a cruel father, a poor mother and many siblings, there wasn’t a single star in her life. But when her dad makes a stupid deal with a cruel circus man, her life just turns from bad to worse. However, there are some good things in circus life-she gets well fed; the crowds adore her; and there are some friends to be found at the circus- the marvelous Madam Adeline, The amazing Mr Marvel and his tiny monkey family and the amazing Emerald Star! But life can’t amazing all the time, especially when Madam Adeline and Mr Marvel have to leave, and Diamond starts to get beat up! Will she find a good future?

I read this from the day it came out to last Thursday- and I loved it! I give it four stars, because it could have been longer. I think it can be for 9+ because it has very few pictures and the writing is small, but not that small. I also recommend reading this after the Hetty Feather trilogy, since it features loads of characters from there and events.

The worst thing about my sister by Jacqueline Wilson

As requested by Booklol(check her out at http://booklol16blog.wordpress.com/), I am going to review The worst thing about my sister by my favourite author, Jacqueline Wilson(more reviews about her books coming soon!). I read this as soon as it came out, back in early Febraury 2012.

The story follows about two sisters, Marty and Melissa Michaels. They are very different and do NOT get along. Their mother, to make a living, makes and sews dresses. When her business starts getting big, the girls are pressured into sharing a room. Will they get along… or will they just hate each other even more?

I think this book is for 7+, as the subjects in this book are ok for that age, and the book is easy to read, with not too small words and lovely illustrations by Nick Sharrat. It is less series and more funny than Jacqueline’s other books.I love this book! It’s one of my top ten.I give this 4 out of five. the worst thing about my sister
